Last updated: February 4, 2026

1. Service Description

FreelancerResolve ("we," "our," or "the Service") provides automated document preparation tools that help freelancers and small businesses create demand letters for unpaid invoices. We are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice, legal representation, or attorney-client relationships.

2. No Legal Advice

The documents generated by FreelancerResolve are templates and tools designed to assist you in communicating with parties who owe you money. They are not a substitute for professional legal advice. The legal information provided is general in nature and may not apply to your specific situation. Laws vary by state and change over time. We make no guarantees about the accuracy, completeness, or currentness of any legal citations or information.

If you need legal advice, please consult a licensed attorney in your jurisdiction.

3. User Responsibilities

By using FreelancerResolve, you agree that:

  • You will review all generated documents for accuracy before sending
  • You are responsible for the truthfulness of all information you provide
  • You will not use the Service for fraudulent, harassing, or illegal purposes
  • You accept full responsibility for how you use any documents generated
  • You understand that sending a demand letter does not guarantee payment or any particular outcome

4. No Guarantee of Results

We make no promises or guarantees regarding the effectiveness of any demand letter or the likelihood of collecting payment. Results depend on many factors outside our control, including the validity of your claim, the recipient's financial situation, and applicable laws.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FreelancerResolve and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, revenue, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.

Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to FreelancerResolve in the 12 months preceding the claim.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless FreelancerResolve and its owners, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights
  • Any demand letter you send using our Service

7. Payment and Refunds

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. Prices are listed on our website and may change at any time.

If your letter is not delivered via certified mail (for the $79 tier) within 7 business days due to our error, you may request a refund. We do not offer refunds based on whether the recipient responds or pays.

8. Intellectual Property

The content, design, and functionality of FreelancerResolve are owned by us and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

Letters generated for you are yours to use as you see fit.

9. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
